Good afternoon,
It always amazes me how fast a school week goes! This week I have enjoyed leading many tours of our wonderful school. It is such a pleasure to show people around. Next week we have more individual tours as well as an open morning on Tuesday.
Today Sam Khan, our Vice Chair of Governors led a session with a group of parents as we consult on our values. It was a great discussion and so valuable to us to have parental involvement, support and contribution. We concluded the meeting with some actions which we will take forward to our next governor meeting in October.
Next week, we will be welcoming families to an assembly on Thursday afternoon 2.30pm to share some songs as well as information about celebration within the school. We hope you can join us for this and also stay for a tea/coffee and cake to support MacMillan.
I want to remind parents about safe parking. The zigzag lines are there to keep everyone safe and should not be stopped on to let children out of cars. I am aware that the traffic can build up but please move past the zigzag lines before letting children out safely. Whilst a morning can feel busy to us all, please take time and care to be safe.
I would also like to remind parents that we have individual and sibling photographs next Friday.
I wish you all a lovely weekend
With kind regards
Jacquie Vanstone
